Lerryn’s squadron, the 93rd, known as the Green Ghosts, has a significant history, apart from one not so brilliant episode when the squadron blew up the Rajah of Sarawak’s private yacht after mistaking it for a Japanese oil tanker.
He died on 26th July, 2015 aged 90.
