British War Medal
The two campaign medals were award to Australian and commonwealth servicemen and women who served in World War One and enlisted after January, 1916.
The Military Medal was awarded for Bravery in the Field.
These medals are top quality replicas and have been court mounted by hand and are suitable to wear on such occasions as ANZAC Day or to mount in a frame.
This group has been professionally court mounted * using full size excellent quality replicas. They are mounted using a single brooch pin as per the Defence Force Honours and Awards guidelines.
* Court mounting is where the medals and their riband (ribbons) are fixed to a backing board so that they are rigid, and the riband can be easily seen behind the medal between the suspender and the top of the medal.
