The Officer Cadet Training Unit, Scheyville was an officer training establishment of the Australian Army between 1965 and 1973.
It was set up during the period of National Service and offered a short, but rigorous commissioning course for officer trainees, that was catered to meet the Army’s need to increase the number of junior officers being produced in order to meet commitments to train national servicemen and also for platoon commanders to serve in the war in Vietnam.
Includes Scheyville graduates and directing staff. Crease to corner top right front cover else in very good condition.
