War Service Research
Regimental Books offers a research service which provides information, understanding and a deeper insight into the participation of Australians in War – ordinary Australians whose response for their country was extraordinary.
The service is an excellent resource for the person who wants to solve some long standing mystery or area of intrigue, for the traveler preparing for a battlefield tour following their family member’s footsteps, or the typical family whose curiosity is high because their service relative simply didn’t talk about the war.
Major areas of research include the participation of Australian forces in the First World War and the Second World War. Other projects may relate to the service of Australians in the Boer War, the Korean War, Vietnam and other conflicts.
The research service is offered to a wide range of customers including individuals, families, schools and corporate clients and is available to enquirers located in any country.
All research is done by our professional military history researcher (an ex Army officer) and expert on Australian military insignia.
You will receive a well researched and thoroughly prepared military service report on an Australian soldier that includes:
Service Record
Activities of that soldier’s unit
Battle Information
Battle Honours and Awards for that soldier’s unit
Medal Entitlements and information on their medals
and much, much more.
Please note that some research may take longer than several weeks, especially if that requires access to a service record that has no yet been examined by the National Archives. Most research usually takes 2-3 weeks.
This particular research you are purchased via our online shop.
